I’d first like to say thank you to the Suzuki and Walters families for creating this place for all the photos, bio, and memories. My wife and I send our condolences to you all, and pray for God’s healing during this time.
Jim and I were colleagues in Endevco engineering for maybe 25 years and, like most people, I will remember Jim as a kind, gentle, and funny person who always gave others positive encouragement or help without hesitation.
It was easy to have a conversation with Jim, and we’d eventually end up talking about either the stock market or, since I live in San Juan Capistrano also, we’d speculate about who was buying the old Endevco property as we saw it change hands many times (after the company moved to Irvine). Or maybe we’d continue our running joke that Honeywell might come in and save us from Meggitt ownership, even though we both knew it was impossible.
Jim was always professional, passionate, and thorough with his projects, and his “hey, what could possibly go wrong!” sense of humor made him endearing to me and many others.
I will certainly miss Jim very much, and am grateful to have known him all these years.
